BodyWise Founder
BodyWise Institute was founded by Tania Lockley, a holistic wellbeing educator, facilitator and practitioner with a deep commitment to embodied, nervous system informed approaches to health and resilience.

She brings together evidence-informed practice and lived experience to support individuals and organisations to engage with wellbeing in ways that are practical, ethical and sustainable.

-
Trauma-aware, consent-based facilitation
Her approach is grounded, inclusive, and non-pathologising, with a strong emphasis on safety, choice and self-agency.
Facilitation Philosophy
At the heart of Tania’s work is the belief that the body is not a problem to be fixed, but a system to be understood and supported.
Rather than applying one-size-fits-all solutions, her facilitation invites participants to:
-
Develop awareness and flexibility of their own nervous system
-
Build practical self-regulation skills
-
Reconnect with bodily cues and internal rhythms
-
Cultivate resilience that can be sustained in real life
This philosophy underpins all offerings at BodyWise Institute.
